HElp Config Problems

Well HELP plz hehe
im one of em newbs to this.
i cant seem to configure my epsxe properly, all i get is a nice lil black screen, i dont know what it could be, prolly the vid plugin.

Im using the following as my config,
Petes openGL driver 1.74 ( standard settings )

Eternal SPU Plugin 1.41 ( standard once again

P.E.Op.S. CDR Driver 1.4
SCPH1001.BIN as bios
I have no clue how to configure this properly, Tried FF5, FF6 and FF tactics nothing seemed to work, but it could just be these games

PC Specs. ATI AIW 9800 Pro
AMD barton 2800
1gig DDR RAM @ 400MHZ
onboard 5.1 channel sound
if you guys could help me configure this properly so it works it would be great

for cd plugin, try using xeven or sapu, it's auto configure.
