I do all the time. But nothing major. Just little things that piss you off in a great way Win XP aint too bad though. I used to have 98SE and mny first windows was Windows 3.1 Ahhh goood old days. Not a single crash on that either. I also have XP Pro somewhere but I cant find it.

Yeah, XP can't use many of the drivers used on my existing system, and there are some that still haven't been updated; I don't know until the error message comes up and I have to figure out whats wrong. But I saw that coming and thats why I dual boot!

Re: Survey: Which Windows OS are you using to run ePSXe?

Windows XP Home SP1 (Good)
Windows CE (5fps more sometimes/10fps less other times)
Windows Game Shell (Great performance increase, but sometimes very unstable. Good for pc games too.)

Re: Survey: Which Windows OS are you using to run ePSXe?

Windows Game Shell is just that. A shell for the operating system that allows all resources to go into Games (Just like a game console system. Playstation2 is a good example)

Re: Survey: Which Windows OS are you using to run ePSXe?

This is a table.

Normal system: EPSXE full frame 124fps 1024x768

Game Shell: EPSXE full frame 256fps 1024x768

Settings:

CPU Overdrive idle off-3 (no OC)

RAM Overdrive (no OC)

GPU Overdrive (no OC)

HDD Overdrive (no buffer)

Sound Overdrive (can't do it because of my AC97 codec)

Re: Survey: Which Windows OS are you using to run ePSXe?

Could someone please tell me what the bloody hell is a Windows Game Shell? Is it an actual shell for Windows or is it simply a bunch of settings?

Re: Survey: Which Windows OS are you using to run ePSXe?

Windows Game Shell seem to be very interesting...

Personally, I use WinXP Home most of the times, but I switch to Win98 SE because it uses less RAM.

Yours,
