Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil Gaiden

Yo,
Well I've been using Epsxe 1.60, to play Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil Survivor, and I've noticed that during the speaking parts of the game, like the intro's and character interaction scences with one another, that a majority of the time there's no sound, or it sort of skips it with bleeps and odd noises instead.

Is there anyway to fix this problem?

what sound plugin are you using and are you playing from the disc or from an image?

Sorry for the late response, but i'm current using

Eternal SPU Plugin 1.41

and so far neither, ePSXe SPU core 1.5.2. or Eternal SPU Plugin 1.41 seem to correct the voice skipping or missing problems.
Oh and im playing the game using an image file.
I know the problem can't be the image file though, cause i tested it out with

PCSX and the voices play just find with no skipping, but i wanted to play the game with sharper graphics which is why im using epsxe
instead.

err, just to point out, PCSX looks the same as epsxe when using the same plugins....
