fm3 iso

ok im new at the emulation thing...ive messed around a few times but not much...heres my problem:

i hear that u have to do a command line switch thing to get front mission 3 to work, i THINK ive done this right because the emulator starts playing the game immediately...from a cd

my cd has....been used and abused (my second cd of this game actually) i have created an iso of my disk, hoping that it plays cleaner from this...however i cant get it to boot up from the iso. is there a way to get the -nogui shortcut to run the iso file?

im sorry if this is the wrong place for this...first time posting....thx for any help i get

what format did you make the image in? have you tried mounting it on a virtual drive software like daemon tools?

ok hold off on using a virtual drive for the moment because it might not be needed. instead try making another image but this time dont do it in that format because that one does not include subchannel data which is needed for most psx games to work correctly. try using a .bin/.cue, .ccd/.img/.sub or mdf/mds format instead. if you need any other programs or guides for doing that read this thread.

ok im makinga .bin file right now....i read the link u sent me and it says to use a cdrw drive to make the img....i am using a dvd drive...should i change over to my cd burner?

sweet the bin file worked....thanks for all of ur help

lol ok new problem...never seen this one before....

i was using the new .bin file started a new game and after the battle in the jdf base after the explosion (emma story) i left the intermission and it took me a couple of battles before the end of the game...ive played this game on my psx for over 700 hrs over the years (yea kinda sad) and ive never came across this...would it be a problem with .bin file, or would it be something to do with the configureation of the emulator? any suggestions?
