Ok, well I have ePSXe and I'm trying to run Legend of Dragoon. I got it to work sort of well, I just don't know what to set the fps to, also there is no sound during cinematic scenes... Could somebody tell me what I need to do?
P.S. I'm using the Pete's Open GL2 Driver 2.7 video plugin |

Use D3D drivers.
Like Pete's D3D driver. Opengl drivers suck on old computers when running ePSXe. And use EPSXe SPU core 1.5.2 for ur sound plugin and make sure Enable Sound, Enable CDDA Sound and Enable XA sound is checked. Set ur FPS to like 60 |

audio device- directsound buffer size- 64 audio-out method- thread all 3 special game fixes enabled "wait for XA buffer is free" enabled under the "misc" section neill's reverb if you are playing from an image, you need to make sure that it is in the correct format, those being .ccd/.img/.sub, .bin/.cue or mdf/mds. avoid .iso because it does not store subchannel data which is needed for games to work correctly. if you are playing from the disk, use the ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2 plugin and make sure subchannel reading from disk is enabled in its config. if you are experiencing any visual glitches, post the settings for your video plugin.

Alright guys...So I have been playing LoD all week. Everyone has their final addition and dragoon magic. Just got to disc 4. Tried to play this morning..AVG decides that Epsxe has a virus. Now it won't let me run epsxe 1.6 at all. v 1.5.2 seems to be looking ok though. I can't seem to get it to run. Whenever I do I just get a black screen. I've googled around for about an hour trying to fix it via other peoples problems but I am just having some of my own. Can someone please help me out?

And what did AVG did exactly,,,did ePSXe 1.6.0 deleted/healed what!!!
A solution for all cases,,,you D***,,,NOT ANSWERING WHILE LOGGED ON,,,: 1- SCAN your PC fully with AVG. 2- Re-download ePSXe v1.6.0 from ePSXe SITE. 3- Get the ePSXe.exe file from the compressed file and copy it to the previous ePSXe folder (where yours was),,,and there you go... ----- [NOTE] ---- You can copy the ePSXe.exe v1.6.0 into the folder contains ePSXe v1.5.2,,,but you have just to name it to (ePSXe v1.6.0.exe OR ePSXe_new.exe,,,or whatever you want).

OK,,,Infection is done,,,is done,,,,What to do now :
1- Scan ur PC in total (complete scan),,, try using (AVG/AVAST + Trojan Remover) that will help... 2- After you cleared the infection, Now get this tool and clear your ePSXe configuration data stored in your system registry , and than start from the beginig (re-download, extract© than configure ePSXe),,,unless you've saved your configuration data somewhere else (use ePSXeCutor instead to do so)... 3- If the last step wont work,,,than get a clean system (RE-Install OS, ePSXe....etc).. Thats all what i can do for you,,,sorry!!
