I need some help with configuring Legend of Dragoon

v 7.5.524, I update daily, and just the default settings. Since this problem started today after I updated AVG this morning..I am thinking that I could just restore to that point but that would mean I couldn't update AVG anymore which I am not comfortable in doing

Alright. So just restart it right now and then see what happens? Do I need to do the registry thing at all?

After restarting,,,,try running your ePSXe,,,if not working well,,,mmm,,,than i'll try some other hints to help, its just that it depends on the restart one hehe!!

Alright: That didn't really do anything. AVG still treats the epsxe.exe as a virus

OK,,, now this gonna take a huge f***** time,,,now leave ePSXe apart,,, and do this steps :

1- Run Windows media player + some music/Video within it (mp3/movies), is it working OK (NO AVG's).

2- Run MS Word/Exel than close is it working OK (NO AVG's).

3- Run paint,,,is it working OK (No AVG's)

If all test above are OK mean no AVG MSGs,,, than do as fellow :

Find another PSx/PS1 emulator (PCSX or PSXEVEN), download & configure with the same crap you did with ePSXe (mean : same Bios,plugins (especialy GPU/SPU), and check if it works,,, than its a problem between AVG/ePSXe1.6.0 (easy to fix),,,else full report of all junk you get by testing all stuff above....good luck.

Haha..Sorry man. I was trying to get it to all work before I posted back..Umm...Just fidling with plug ins now. Trying to get it to work. Having problems

Edit: Ok...So I have tried working through all of this with Pcsx and I am just getting errors and problems all around with it. What do I need to do?

mmm,,,that all to understand your system,,,OK,,,mmm,,But tell me any AVG MSGs when runing MP, MSword/Exel, MS PAINT, PCSX!!

Oh yeah...No messages when running any of those programs. They all are fine except for epsxe. I tried other emulators and it is just that one that is having problems

Basically I had to get all new plug ins. The main problem right now is that the Cdrom one isn't working and the controller one isn't either

Now thats great for sure,,, OK, we reached a good point,,,no what BIOS/Plugins you're using (note : copy all plugins from ePSXe plugins folder to PCSX plugins folder...OK).

Thanks. All those worked. Now when I try and run pcsx I get the message that it has stopped working and closes out...

try runing the bios (Emulator/Run)!

Alright.....That didn't work. I also found another problem with my computer so I am just going to system restore it. I did this 2 weeks ago so I won't have any problem in doing so.

Alright :

- if your PCSX works, than know that the update to AVG is corrupted one,,,or AVG is (somethinge is wrong with AVG and you need to fix it(update AVG version)).

- If not than a last choice i can offer is to delete your OS (format), than re-instal OS and procced with youe stuff!! BY!!
