Steering Wheel emulation?

I tried many ways to get my steering wheel to work properly with ePSXe.

I can set the left analog pad to turn the car left and right by turning my steering wheel left or right,but for the pedals it is another matter. I cannot get them to work properly, because it seems like the pedals are always pressed for the emulator, so that cars accelerate automatically, and pushing the brake or accelerator pedals only makes the car stop.

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to get steering wheels working properly, so that I can ply Gran TUrismo 2 with a steering wheel?

What kind of steering wheel are you using? That sounds like fun.

But then again using a proper steering wheel for GT3 A-Spec for PS2 on a Sony flatscreen is probably 100x more fun!!
