Question Tenchu 2 - can anyone help me?

Hi! Recently I had some problems concerning Tenchu 2. After "starting" the cd the screen goes black and ...well nothing happens. I've tried various configurations such as different graphic/sound/cdrom plugins but the effect is almost the same. It's a kind of strange because Tenchu I was running perfectly on epsxe 1.40 (I'm currently using it with the newest Pete's plugins) Can anyone help? Maybe someone had similiar problem but eventually solve it? This game runs well on vgs, but epsxe is able to deliver far more greater graphics. Thanks in advance for Your attention.

Define "starting". Does it go black as soon as you open the emulator, or does it wait until after you see the Tenchu title screen?

i use to have that problem on my Tenchu 2. Pressing F4 will help a lot, but it's kinda annoying.
anyway, after messing around with the settings, I fixed it but for got how though, maybe you can try my setting, see picture.

Thumbs up

Thanks for Your quick answer. Anyway:
1. Starting in that case means that I'm not even able to see anything (I've just noticed a bit of disk swaping, but nothing else)
2. Thanks for the image - hmm... What is "epsxecutor?" I'm afraid I don't have so much experience on the field of psx emulation.
What kind of plugins did You used?

ePSXeCutor is basically a frontend for ePSXe made by the same Pete who does a lot of plugins (and posts here from time to time). You can get it at a couple of places, including http://www.ngemu.com/psx/epsxe.php?page=download. I suggest trying it out some time. It's pretty nice.
