Question Best SPU plugin for good MDEC speed?

I recently found out that the framerate of MDECs (esp. in FF9) heavily depends on the selected SPU plugin. I think I configured CDRom and GPU quite well but I still wonder which SPU to choose and how to configure it.

Can anybody help me here? (It worked quite well with the Eternal SPU, yet not perfect.)

Use Iori's with a Buffer of 20 or so. Works nice. If you want "The Ultimate Perfection" instead of speed use Eternal or buy a PS...

You've used the Eternal Plugin?

Well, that plugin appearantly has three reverb settings instead of just on and off. If the reverb checkbox is both greyed and checked, that means its set for maximum quality reverb. That setting is really resource intensive.

You can get a small speed up by setting the checkbox to be just checked, and not greyed. You'll get a lesser amount of reverb, but the plugin will run faster than using maximum reverb.
