I used to have the same error. Not anymore though. Have you installed Directx 8.1? Or perhaps it went away when I reinstalled windows. Other than that I don't know what else I did. Maybe vid card drivers? Anyways good luck. That error really ANNOYED me.

Its a problem with the tsgmscdex cd rom pluggin.. There are 3 files with that pluggin..

subTsgMSCD16.dll
subTsgMSCD32.dll

Copy these two files from the pluggin directory into the epsxe main directory.. These are needed there by that cdr pluggin..

That pluggin is good for people with older cd rom drives.. Sometimes it works when other cd rom pluggins don't.. Anyways, that is the error you get when that pluggin isn't installed properly..

Plug-In corrupted

This is the corruption of the plug-in category,
open the folder option, on the view all files funtion,
delete all of the plug-ins(backup first),
then put it the only plug-in that u're using,
and this should fix it.

No it's not a pluggin corruption.. It's the tsgmscdex pluggin like I said.. Copying those two files into the epsxe main directory will fix it..

Just follow fivefeet8's advice in this problem, BaSSlin3r (not RedJacket's). It's a common problem with a simple solution.
