Pete's CD Plugin + Plextor 12/10/32A

I have a Plextor 12/10/32A as my secodary master drive and whenever I try to use Pete's CD plugin, ePSXe will cannot open the CD drive. Autodetection of the read mode locks up the ePSXe main window. When running a game, the main window is gone and the DOS box remains. No combination I've tried has worked yet.

The ePSXe default plugin works fine, but I'd like to try a different one to see if it doesn't stutter as much when loading. An ISO image isn't very appealing to me so that's out the window. Any ideas?

personally I thought the default plugin was best..I had lots of problems with other cd plugins. You also might want to turn vsync off (if you have an nvidea card) in order to reduce stuttering.

note: I also have a plextor. My other drive is a dvd-rom, which also only works correctly with the default plugin
