Help with ePSXe.

Does anyone have any suggestions to keep the sound from lagging behind, being choppy, or starting late? How about how to fix some grapic problems with flickering and textures. I notice the more I lower video memory using options the better things get but I still can't get things to be perfect.(bushido blade 2 is the only game I've tried so far)

You'd most likely want to post the details of your plugins if you're looking to get help, as it's rather difficult to do otherwise. Check out "Board Rules" in the General Discussion area for what sort of information to provide.

My system specs are a 500 mhz athlon, a voodoo 3 2000 PCI overclocked to 160 something, a 40x cd rom drive, a 32x creative cdrw, 128 meg ram, 17" monitor, what else is needed? Oh and I've tried several glide, openGL, and direct3d drivers.(most of them Pete's) All of these exhibit the same problems. BTW does ePSXe work with MGS? I've gotten the startup screen for it but it always seems to crash ePSXe.

MGS does not work with ePSXe yet.

Wait, how come the ePSXe pic on psxemu's main page has metal gear solid playing?

Because MGS works partially in 1.2.0.

The DARPA Chief crash has been fixed in the next version...
