how to play f1 championship on epsxe?

damn that game!
ive spent hours trying to play, but it just refuses to even start.
ive even tried bleem! and vgs.
till date, the best performance ive seen is from vgs:it reaches the intro movie. others crash before that.
epsxe gives an error message 'opcode unk blah blah'
anyone got any ideas??

Watching your post it looks you are able to play other games well in epsxe.So shouldnt be a problem with epsxe.(Try to change cd rom settings though,accurate cd rom timing and stuff).
According to this report at psxfanatics the game should run pretty well.

uriel, you should post the configs you tried with the game to make it work if you're asking for help...
