cant continue in ff9...

umm, can anyone help me out here? i have this savestate in ff9(cd3). the problem is right after that save state, it tries to load the next scene but it just stalls and nothing happens. can someone try to load my savestate and pass that part for me? (just load the next scene) ive tried many times with many different cdrom, graphic, sound plugins. thanks guys

That's Geocities for you. You can't link to a file from outside of their site.

Using savestates causes weird problems like that.. I suggest doing a regular memcard save and loading it from that..

i cant load a saved game, i never used a regular memory card save

i cant save the game AFTER i load the state either cause the freeze happens right in the next scene and i cant save in the scene im in. can someone please help me out here?

That's a nono.. Always have a backup plan.. Use savestates as well as memcard saves... Less headaches in the long run.. The savestate function still has some bugs.. Hopefully you still have a savestate from a previous scene where you can save it to memcard.. If not, then well, hope someone can get that savestate back to ya..

Then your only option would be to download a memory card from www.gamefaqs.com . Make sure you get the correct version though for AFAIK you can't currently convert between the differnet versions (ie US JAP UK GER SPA FRA or ITA)
