When I go into battle, there is a constant blinking of the message boxes and the characters. It's rather annoying. How can I fix this?
I have a Amd 1.2 GHZ and a Geforce 2 MX. Im using Pete's OpenGL Renderer with the "Nice" preset.

I actually had the same problem with FF9, Unfortunately I no longer have that card, and forget what the fix was. Although this isn't a message to tell you how to fix it, this IS a message telling you it CAN be fixed

wow, I haven't posted in a LONG time. This is just an idea tho. Using the "nice" defaults puts offscreen drawing to extended, which has given me the same prob in other games. Try changing that to enhanced instead. hope that helps.
p.s. Glad my username and password still works, and that I remembered them on my first guess. Specially since I haven't posted since it was emuforums.com abou 4 months ago. ![]()
