My GamePad Plz Help!!

Okay i just got back from my cousins house i copy and pasted my epsxe Directory and pasted on a CD-R and when i came back I comp detects my gamepad and I can configure it on Epsxe but i cant move and none of the buttons respond plz help me.

A few questions. What brand of Pad are you trying to use? Can you use the Pad in regularPC games? When you config the pad in ePSXe did you set it to the right type of pad (ie: digital, digital/analog, etc.)? Are you able to config/use your keyboard as a Pad in ePSXe?

My sister had this problem when i burnt epsxe to a cd for her,when u burn it the file that remembers the pad layout acts as if it is still on the cd,which means it thinks it is read only,delete the pad driver and re-download it,thats what worked for me

Well i fixed the problem but i dont know why i had to put gamepad 1 on digital/analog function to work, before it worked on Digital only. Well Thanks anyway
