Question Will it make a difference?

I have a PIII 550, 128 Mb ram, a nVidia TNT2 32 mb, WinME, DX8.
But some games are still slow (SF ex-plus alpha, driver2, etc). Ram is getting cheaper every day, I've been thinking in buying an extra 128 Mb. Will it make a difference?

It will make a difference in Windows(much more stable and fast),but not in ePSXe,believe me.
You should reallly look for a new video card or CPU,that WILL speed up things.

hmmm! Dont know why SF EX+A is running slow on your spec, I can remember (a good 2 or 3 years ago) that I could run it at nearly full speed (very playable) on a Cyrix 166 with 48Mb Ram and a Voodoo 2 using PSEmuPro, Lewpy's Plugin, and I think the Seal Audio Plugin!
I dont have the game anymore (was borrowing it off of a mate)!

You could always try out PSEmu, 1.0.21Beta was the last official release, you can get that from the PSXEmu PSEmu download page

Worth a shot I suppose

But to answer you main question! I doubt more RAM would actually speed up those games, you may notice some difference in Windows, but it really depends on how many apps you run at the same time!
