ePSXE speed questions
ok I just got this for the first time and got everything set up with the bideo card and everything. now i have some problems and I know it's gonna sound stupid.
is there anyway to slow down a game to normal speed ? I am running FF9 and the game and video sequences run extremely fast .. beyond normal speed...any way to fix this ? also on the graphics .. the 3d chars and things look spectacular ... but the background 2d screens look horrible ... if this is normal or if anyone has suggestions let me know ..thanks. |

whats your system specs? whats your configurations of epsxe? configure the pluggin and put 60 for ntsc and 50 for pal games in the framerate option....or enable auto framelimit/frameskip........

Re: ePSXE speed questions
Quote:
The background (which should be pixellisated w/ ur monitor right?) Is displayed as it should be on the real psx... The TV and monitor aren t the same you know...well, if u can t play on a tv (I m lucky, i ve got a tv output but hum, sorry), U ve got two choices: Enable the bilinear filtering (if u are using pete s plugins) to extended, the second one in the pannel). Or put scanlines on...(here s an hint; if u can manage to do it w/ ur comp, then increase resolution, say 1024x768 and enable scanlines...check a look at it the more the resolution is increased, the thiner the lines will be)Bye Last edited by Rargh; July 12th, 2001 at 11:23. |
