DirectPad Pro 5

I, as many of you, use direct pad pro to attach my PSX joypad to the pc. It worx great, has no speed drawbacks, and it's the best joypad I used so far to play PC games! But, does anyone knows how to make it work in win2000? or in winXP? because when XP comes out, (tried every beta, and they kick ass!) current direct pad pro drivers are obsolete
Btw, what is the best commercial converter that has win2000 support and no speed sideeffects?

eh... i would stick with win98 more then in win2000 enviroment for that matters... simply for the sake of Direct Pad Pro 's driver performance.

If you mean compUSA then they should at least have something like a gravis gamepad pro (looks like a normal PSX pad, but the Dpad isn't as accurate). I don't think you will ever find a PSX to PC pad converter in a store though. Your best bet is the PSXemu store. www.psxemu.com/shop.shtml

doraemon,

there is a Win2k driver for the DirectPad Pro, but it's not written by the original author. Here's its official site, but it's in Chinese only:
http://www.topcmm.com/

if you don't read Chinese, just click here for the file:
http://www.topcmm.com/download/psddr.zip

basically the site says "use at your own risk", etc. And that the author has had only a no-shock pad and a dance mat to test it with so far.
