Where to turn on mdec's?

Hi,

I seem unable to turn on these mdec scenes, I simply can't find the option to do so. I am running epsx 1.40

A little advice: use the ePSXecutor. It will make the configuration of the emulator very easy. In it there is an option to enable the mdecs, in the emulator sorry but I do not know...

There was an " enable MDECS" box in the previous version (1.2.0)
I dunno why it dissapeared ????

eh? only noticed myself. I use epsxecutor mainly so I hadn't realised. So THATS why were geting so many 'where's the fmv gone' threads.

Thanks for the info, using the exicutor now too, nice programm works quite good, on thing I'd like to know though, how do I get it to load an iso instead of booting a cd?

it s as simply as loading a cd:

Run epsxe cutor, launch ePSXe, and then go to
File>Load ISO and just choose ur iso or bin of the game.

or you could just type:

-loadbin d:/FF9.bin

or something similar in the command line option in the executor.....

Not the most eligant method, but I just unzipped 1.2 again, enabled mdec's, and unzipped 1.4 overtop again.
