Problems with Final Fantasy IX

I have some problems with FFIX. In some parts of the game the game, sound and all battles are too fast. It is almoust impossible to play or win battles. The sound of the video sounds like an echo.

How can I solve the problem?

some plugin settings woulnd't go a miss

if using Pete's GPUs enable FPS Limit, and Auto Detect FPS/Frame Skipping limit!

Just like Ben said,

Try:
1. Pete's GPU 1.50,with config: use fps limit, fps limit:60fps.
2. Use Pete's DSound 1.80, don't forget to enable spu irq hack.
