Xenogears sprites all squareish
Take an look

yup, this is a side effect of biliner filtering, I know it doesn't show up in the software render. However, you can reduce it a little by turing on screen smoothing.

Ok thanx i guess. But turning on Screen smoothing would make an normal battle last an hour

Just play it without bilinear filtering, using 4xfsaa and 640x480 resolution. If you want a better result turn screen smoothing on.

I read it but that just my suggestion coz turning screen smoothing on did not give big slowdown in my system
