How do you get cheats to work?

I'm confused on how to get the cheats to work.

Use PEC.. www.aldostools.com for gameshark and pro action code cheats.. The cheat function in epsxe is not really for ingame cheats..

Well I did get gameshark codes and I put them in on the edit cheat codes thing but they don't work so I thought maybe i'm doning somehitng wrong.

Like I said.. use PEC.. Get it at the site above... The epsxe cheat option isn't for gameshark or pro action codes..

K I got pec and i set up and everything but whenever I send the cheats to the plugin it never does anything it just sits there and says waiting for plugin.

Read the documentation included in the package for the correct procedure. It's explained pretty clear there.

when using PEC, did you configurate the plugins correctly??? and if so, there should be auto detection and prompt when you send the cheat to the plugin

yeah PEC is easier...

sorry about my first comment it was supposed to be PEC which I uses and CEP havent tried yet...

its like a gamehark in PC merely the same interface cause you could choose the cheat or add one yourself

OK this is gonna be in detail, start listening: download the newest version of pec in www.emucheater.com, it should be like "pecsetup.exe" then fire away

I couldnt get it to work either.. Followed the instructions, got the same problem. Simply wont interface with the emu! argh! Plugin doesnt work, neither does normal mode using bleem OR the other option. This is latest PEC with latest ePSXe. Any help/tips/suggestions? Thanks.
