question about save states

Is it posible to use save states from the actual version to an older version?

Not possible i`m afraid... epsxe 1.5.1 savestate is basically different from epsxe version 1.4

well it's gonna ruin some part of the game like distorted images and stuff. I trie it when I used a save state of BOF3 from 1.5.1 to 1.4 and the image is totally distorted. Just use your memory card to access the game.

the memory card sure gonna work so always save on the memory card and do not always rely on save state so you'll have back up

you can force epsxe 1.5.1 to create old format savestate by adding -ssv0 into the shortcut property of epsxe.exe...btw, epsxe 1.5.1 can load savestate from old version of epsxe

that's right G-pitt, any older version can be used in the current version of ePSXe... you got me on that

That -ssv0 command line option doesnt always work well.
i tried few games, it works wonderfully well in some of them and it gives weird glitches in some others.

I use executor for command line options.
