Question need some help for FF8 & FF9

Can someone help me out. I can get FF7 working fine but FF8 & FF9 do not work...

With FF8 it loads up the start screen and goes through the intro at the start with the names of the people that made it, But when i try use the X button to go on and start the game it will not do anything even if i try all of the keys...

With FF9 when i start to run the game it is just a blank screen and does nothing...

a tip for you, try posting your pc specs and epsxe configurations when you have emulator problems

and try searching first for configs for ff8 & ff9...theres a search button at the top of this page

for ff8, try pressing F4.

for ff9, i think you need a patch.

FF9? Have a look at my FAQ.
As to why he has to press F4? I'm not sure, but I think it only affects you in analog mode, but I could be wrong.

I'm going to work on that. They are out there, they just haven't been centralised. My FAQ was based on the one that Fivefeet8 and Rargh created, I just updated it and turned it into a webpage.

Use 1.5.1, and empty the registry setting (ePSXecutor will let you do this). Don't use the savestates (Save and load in the menu and F1-3), just use memory card save. It's a know issue with this game.
