Metal Slug X....shutdown

ok im using the bin&cue of MSX,and at the beginning i can choose my character but after that,the screen goes black and then all of a sudden my pc freezes up and then epsxe shuts down the whole pc and then restarts it.can someone pls help me,and no i dont want to use the neo-geo emu or mame,b/c it wont work for some weird reason,my stats r

I dont think you can get this game to work to be honest but try what was suggested <a href="http://www.ngemu.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=15465&highlight=slug">here </a>
As for it not working in mame do u have the neo-geo bios (obvious I know but I thought I'd check)
