F8 will take a screenshot in ePSXe.

in epsxe just press F8. but it saves in BMP so if you want to post them, say here on the forums, you should convert them to Jpg so they are fast to download.

nickclone, make sure you have a folder in you ePSXe directory called snap for the pictures to be put into when you press F8. If you don't have this folder, when you take a picture, it won't go anywhere and it will be lost.

I just use print screen, or hypersnap DX, depends on how many shots I want to take. I hate converting bitmaps to jpegs.

it's easy to convert if you have ACDsee, but printscreen also snaps bitmaps

Or you can try using freeware Irfanview to convert bmp to jpg. Grab this software at www.irfanview.com

In Paint for Windows XP you can save to a JPG. So that's what I normally do if I only want one shot.

i've noticed in the paint if you save it as a JPG the file still ends up as big as a bmp ya know in the 1.0 mb range

Mine are all in the 40 - 60kb range. There must be something seriously wrong with your paint, or you are setting your quality WAY too high. I set mine at about 75%.

right clicks
clicks on paste
clicks on export as jpg
sets compression value
saves image
quits game
shuts down windows
