One problem with Breath of Fire 4

ok, ok I have bought this game!!! ollè!!!!! But I have one problem... when I enter in a menu and I press triangle to esc, the screen became black and then NOTHING!!!! Please help a poor boy!!!!

P.S.:there is also some special features for this games, like particular option in pete's plugin or other!?!?!?

For the USA version, there's a cheat you have to use in Epsxe.
This cheat comes with the emulator so you just have to load it.
(Use a front-end like Epsxecutor to manage these things handily)

someone here already posted that it may be the spu causing the problem. then he tried to change his spu to eternal and his problem was gone.

You can use Vgs with this game, it works fine with it.
