chrono cross new game + question

i beat CC, saved it, then loaded it. i chose new game +, and when it had me switch disks, i got a "this program has comitted an illegal action" message. the details gave me no insight (as usually it will say what file did the bad thing). it just said "EPSXE caused an invalid page fault in
module <unknown> at 000:fffffffffffffffff"
im using Pete's PSX ASPI CDr v1.10
