Unhappy Chrono Cross Slowdown...

I've been having trouble running Chrono Cross on ePSXe...it slows down A LOT. Normally, I could blame it on having a slow system, but I have a 1.1 Ghz computer with a GeForce 4 PCI video card.

It mainly slows down when going into battle and when using elements. Everything else use to be way too fast until I discovered limiting the frame rate . Anyway, can anyone help?

Right. I'm gonna assume you have FSAA enabled, or are in a resoloution other than 640x480. Don't worry, it's just the way the PSX can use the Framebuffer, and PC API's don't let you do that fast.
If it's the former: Change the framebuffer mode to 0, and enable full vRam primatives.
If it's the later: Change the resoloution down.

Could it be slowdown in accessing CD-ROM? Most of 52x cd-rom speeds could not have a solid perfomance. Try to make an ISO.

Well...I have a 12x8x42(or 48) CD-R, so if 52x isn't fast enough, I guess I could bet that this doesn't either. Do you know of a good site of a program that will make me an ISO?

CDR-Win is good.
Edit: It's not that 52x isn't fast enough, it's that it needs to spin up, which takes a moment.
