how do i configure the ePSXe emulator for final fantasy 8...

Here is my FF8/9 config for ePSXexecutor. You'll need to tweak it as my machine is different from yours. Next time please search for such information. There have been many threads on this subject.

look in ePSXe's readme file too. (contrary to popular opinion, ePSXe's readme is actually very informative, as well as the readme's included with the plugins)
