need help with kiky-joy and epsxe

I just got kiky-joy adaptor. I install it, no problems. Checked the properties tab, tested the buttons and rumble effects...no problems.

Went to set up epsxe for directx rumble, popped in Tekken3, check the options menu, turned on rumble....no rumble.

Everything seems fine in the when I checked the properties in the game options in the control panel. Yet, rumble does not work on epsxe.

Has anyone gotten rumble to work with kiky-joy on epsxe?

How should I set up the big motor and small motor setting? Or am I setting it up correctly at all?

I have the KIKI-joy cable and here is how I have it set up. Mode-Digital/Analog (it must be set to this in order for rumble to work, rumble will not work w/just digital), Type-Direct X, Big Motor- Constant, and Small Motor-Sine. W/these settings I get good strong rumble in all my games that support it. Hope this helps.
sincerely,

Nevermind...I found the problem.

The controller ID# in the game options properties tab has to be set to 1 for the adaptor.

RUUUUUUUMBLE!!!

Ah ****, even worst, I can't have any other controllers installed or attached. Other epsxe with the kiky will see the adaptor as J2 or J3 or higher.

Damn it, I can't get windows to force the kiky adaptor to be recognized as the "first" joystick whenever I attach other game pads. Any ideas?

hmmm, my usb keyboard and usb mouse is takes up the two main usb ports. I have four usb port total, the first two are for the keyboard and mouse, so I stuck the adaptor on usb3 of the last two.

Windows always recognises my MS Sidewinder Freestyle pro as the first device, no matter where it is connected. So I never use it.

Unhappy

Oh well, let's just hope in the near future epsxe team will provide rumble support for 2p,3p, and 4p.

damn, I like my sidewinder too. I hate the idea of using psx pads for my neogeo and cps games.

oh well, guess i gotta start swapping.
