AHOY MATEYS (Valkerie Profile) problem

I get stuck in the Arngrim and Lawfer Story just at the beginning at chapter2 the dialogue hangs. Does any one have a clue to what I'm gonna do???

I'm using

Athlon XP 1.9 GHZ
32MB TNT2
256 DDR RAM
Peops soft gpu 1.5 or 1.4
SPU plugin 1.2
epsxe 1.5.1 or 1.5.0

It worked fine for me. Try pressing the start button to skip the whole scene. It's kind of stupid since I have no idea how Lawfer died anyway. He just kind of showed up in my party.

I was wondering where will u push the start button at the world map or after u went to artolia? pushing start at the scene after entering artolia seems to do nothing.. any tips??? or any solutions
I've tried different spus no godd at all

hmm... can you send me your memory card? I will see if it works for me. If it works, then you probably have a scratched/defective CD. I could get past that spot for you at any rate.

I was searching the older epsxe archive on 1.5.0, one guy had the same problem as me, then someone responded that he loaded it in his memcard rather than using the savestate, KABOOM it worked and fixed itself. Thanks anyway for the tip
