Have you tried the PPF section of NGEmu? It's now up!

You need to put that in the \patches directory of ePSXe, and either enable auto PPF patching in the emu, or in Pete's CDR plugin. Alternatively, you can make an ISO, then patch that with a PPF util.
Also, you may want to make sure you run 1.5.1. I heard that there are probs with 1.5.0 and auto Bios checking? I may be wrong there.

If u get a tool called "PPF omatic" (u can get from the above site also) u can put it directly into a BIN file of the game and burn it back to cd - I use CDRWIN for that.

Thanks is there anything so you dont have to make it an iso then burn it back onto cd, cuase i have dragoon on 4 cds (direct copy from the real game) and i cant seem to get it working at all besides a little bit of sound at the beginning of the game. I would like to be able to play this game, its one of my favorite. So to use one of these PFF i put it in the patches then tell it in the cd-rom optioons to use it???

Thanks

Like i said, put the ppf patch in the patches directory and enable ppf patching. or use the cd ppf patcher in pete's plugin; both should work.

Please do not post that URL. It apparently contains illiegal content.

btw, all you need is the correct patch from or ngemu ppf list (this list ONLY contains patches for protected games), adter you have that file you need to unzip it into your epsxe\patches\ directory and enable "auto load ppf" in epsxe
simple as that. Some people have reported errors with this. You can email me if you have any trouble, or you can just try the ppf patcher included in petes cdr plugin, in that case you will need to rename the patches to have a .ppf extension(not nesscary, but easier).

The pal version shouldn't require patching.... possibly your problems lie elsewhere...

I personally have the uk/pal version and it runs fine without being patched.
