Gran Turismo 2 NTSC

I can't get gt2 workin with epsxe 1.2.0 i've tryed everything that i can think of but still nothing i used the cd option for it but as soon as i start game it freezes up, it even locks up if i use iso..... anyone know how to fix this?
the plugins i use for most of my games are as follows (i've tryed all dif settings/plugins but nothing seems to work...)

PIII 800MHz
128MB Ram
GForce2 MX 32 meg with tv out
Pete's OGL 1.48
TSG CDr plugin (16mb cache)
Null's 1.35 SPU
