I´ve got the PAL Version, too and got exactly the same problem.
I tried LOTS of different Plugins/Configurations and the ppf Patch, but nothing worked ! (GRRRR...)

I didn´t check it out but is there another psx emulator compatible with epsxe´s (1.5.1) save states ?
And: Can I use the memory cards in every emulator, or does every emu use another format to store them ?
(Until now I´ve only been using epsxe and It worked fine with many games, but this time it´s different)

Did someone test TLOD with an emulator other than epsxe ?
If so, please tell me if it worked !

You could use a memcard manager to transfer the epsxe memcard
file to another emulator's format , and im quite sure that FPSE
runs Legend of dragoon perfectly .. also VGS works pretty good .

yes FPSE works! If anyone wants a memcard save or savestate just ask, although its better to do it yourself so you have your characters.

Cheers Blade of Chaos.

Hum, my ntsc LoD won't load up at all, I've tried both the original cd and an iso, neither work, and i've tried a crapload of plugins. Any suggestions [no i have not used the ppf file yet, i thought epsxe doesn't need them?].

If it's already loaded, I don't think you need to worry.

Adtorrubia and Blade Of Chaos, if you want the memcard (its smaller than savestate and more likely to be compatable.) I need your email address or however you want me to transfer it. I've got nowhere to upload it too and dont know how to send files through the messageboard email.

on a side note, i suggest you keep using FPSE, as EPSXE continues to screw up at later points. Too bad FPSE doesnt have savestate support.

Ok, got mine workin with an anti-mod patch.

As far as the problem w/ being stuck at blue dragon...
Use pete's open gl and when you go to configure, there are "special game fixes", In the list there is one for the blue dragon prob. on leg. of dragoon. Turn it on.

Someone probably already said this, but see if it works.

Dallas , the fix in pete's ogl menu is for BLUE GLITCHS , if you didnt
turn it on you would see blue polygons in almost every screen of
the game . its has NOTHING to do with the blue dragon fight !
