Debatable.
The PSX music kicks the PC version unless you download the mods for it. The PSX graphics are worse, but with ePSXe, they can be improved. The PC has perspective correction, but you can't take the resoloution above 640x480, which you can do with a PSX GPU plugin.

I would say use the psx version because the difference really is not significant if you are using some of the enhanced graphics plugins for epsxe(petes opengl, whatever else you like). Then you can use the many game genie codes out there, do save states, and many other handle little things like this that emulators allow you to do. I use the psx version of ff7 and ff8 in epsxe mainly for the game genie codes and save states... theres tons of hidden stuff you can unconver via the game genie codes once you think youve done everything in the game... and save states are simply awesome =)
