But if you don't wwant RPGs;
Street Fighter Alpha 2, Bushido Blade 1, and Tekken 3 are good fighting games.

If your new to psx games, here are a few to play:

Metal Gear Solid
Resident Evil 1, 2, and 3
Gran Tourismo 1 and 2
Parasite Eve 1 and 2
Vagrant Story
Tales of Destiny 1 and 2
Tekken 3

For Shooters and 2d fighting games, I prefer other emulators or systems..

Damn, this thread is gonna get flooded in no time... Anyway I thought I'd offer up some good ones that people don't seem to play (or recommend) as much anymore.

Castlevnia SOTN - 2d adventure
Rival Schools - 3d fighter (looks really nice with good 3d emulation)
Pa-Rappa the Rapper - silly and short, but fun game
Parasite Eve (I like the 1st one better) - RPG/Action hybrid

Thanks guys, I tried a few of the games you listed and must say I enjoyed tenchu 2 the most, I haven't tried tenchu 1 yet, but 2 is awesome. Are there any other games like tenchu.
I also tried bushido blade 2
I don't really like RPG's or fighting games like tekken.

But if it has an engaging story like tenchu2 then I'll give it a try.

There are Castlevania games on the PS?? Why doesn't anybody tell me these things? Every Castlevania game was good.
