Wipeout 2097 PAL
Hiya
![]() I'm trying to get 2097 working (old time's sake). On the compatibility list, my version is listed as 'working perfectly' but no luck for me! It gets to the loading screen where you press 'start'. I then press start, the disk chugs a bit, and ePSXe crashes. Any ideas? Aha!
To answer my own question... The internal CDR plugin doesn't seem to like CDDA. I used Pete's ASPI/IOCTL 1.9 instead, and it works beautifully.

Try using these settings instead of yours(i use them and 4x FSAA)
Sometimes turn framebuffer textures to black - faster (the highlated in blue))

Cheers for the suggestions. It seems to be running totally perfect as is... but will certainly add those little tweaks
![]() In fact it's way better than the real thing in terms of graphics (due to the antialiasing I guess, as well as the better monitor) Used to have a native PC version somewhere, don't think it'd work now though (I think it was Glide based). Here's a nice shot:
