Question console box

Is there any way to shut off the console box that epsxe leaves
open?

That's the debug window, and iirc there's a program that hides that, look in www.aldostools.com for it, i don't remember the name, but it has something to do with speeding up the program loading...

That console box is quite useful for troubleshooting purposes, and for those times when you just HAD to make sure that you made a savestate.

Too bad they don't timestamp everything. After playing for a really long time saving often one saved state looks just like another ayei!!

Yeah, sometimes the debug windows becomes populated with "savestate saved" messages and you don't know if it was really saved or occurred some problem. But when there's a doubt (the hd light doesn't stay on enough) I savestate again
