Petes D3D settings for FF9

I have a kyro2 card with 4x anti-aliasing enabled and am looking for the best settings for petes D3D plugin. I was going to use the OpenGL version but it crashes. Anyways i want to run it for maximum visualy quality without glitches. Also i'm using nulls 1.24 SPU driver because all of the 1.3x made my MDEC's slow, is that the latest 1.24 the latest 1.2x version if not anyone know a link to the newest one?
