Make a Sticky Thread for the @#$ Newbies!!

I think the mods should make a Sticky thread and Put the Subject in BOLD for the newbies, to stop making those annoying threads. I guess lately, because the site's popularity has grown, there are people here wich, maybe, never has been in a WWWboard, so the make too much mistakes, like the ones you see under this post. I maybe you should make a sticky thread with a subject in bold wich says something like: NEWBIES: READ THIS BEFORE POSTING!! in the 3 most popular forums. that's only my opinion, don't think I'm commanding you!!

Newbies don't read FAQs, they don't read manuals, etc. That's part of the reason why they don't have a clue. You could throw the answer right at them, and they'd still ask.

That's extreme in most cases. If they continue being annoying, they'll just be gone. Remember, there's a reason why there's the acronym RTFM, and it's not because everyone RTFM.

certainly true... but maybe you should put something that could call their attention... and maybe then, we should get less "annoying closed" threads...

Manuals and Readmes are there to be READ. I always read them if I can't figure it out myself.

I know there are many annoying threads at times, but it is not a solution to ban them immediately. If we keep banning people the message boards will run dry eventualy, and we wouldn't wan that to happen. I think it is a really good thing that so many new people are signing on. We should do somethig about reading the manual though. There should be some warning somewhere when you sign on that you must read the manual so that we can actually flame someone who hasn't. Now people will just not read.

Let me ask you an honest question. Do you always read the installation notes when it comes to installing new games? I don't since it is always the same. People do the same with the board rules.

We were all newbies once. If people didn't bother to answer my Valkyrie Profile question 6 months ago because "it's been answered already last month", then I prolly wouldn't be here now.

If you want to help, do so because you like to. You don't want to help, then shut your trap. I've seen much more useless threads than the ones the n00bs post. I'd rather see a 'How do you configure FF9?" post than a "WHAT GATEKEEPERS CHARACTER DO YOU LIKE THE MOST!!!!!!" thread. -_-
