sorry if has been asked, mgs problem and some emulating n64 on epsx question

hi im sorry if this has been asked before but i searched and couldnt find it,and i dont know if this a graphic problem or if im doing something wrong while playing the game
sorry if this is a stupid question, but i just got a copy of the game, im always been N loyal so iv never played mgs or heard much about it, so i wouldnt know what to do

the thing is after fighting revolver im suposed to contact some girl, meryl i think, but i cant do it, i got to where im suposed to contact her but i cant, she in not in codec memory list, and even though i know her frequency i cant "enter it" (dont know if im suposed to enter it manually) since no matter how much i press left or right, (asume thats how you enter a frequency) the codec still shows 88888

is that a graphic problem and im missing the frequency number or is the same even playing it on a psx


((((( ok i dont know how but i now can see meryll's number... but anyway i still want to know if it was a glitch, a wrong configuration, or i was doing something wrong ))))


and second

I THINK (note i say i think im not sure), i saw on a page that you could play a harvest moon 64 rom on epsx by renaming the file to something else and etc
but that doesnt make sense to me it seems like a joke, but still is this true?



and now 3rd
i got access to a tekken 3 copy, but i dont think is a regular tekken 3 copy, coz it doesnt work on epsx, as soon as i load it i get to a blue screen with a red text that says something like
tekken 3

golden leon

with 23 new characters and much more

the game works perfectly on the psx i tried but it doesnt work on emu, so i asume it is coz its an "altered" or hacked version of tekken 3,
so my question is should i try some special config or plugin to get it to work? i think i tried everything still could there be something to do?
or should i just sell it or get rid of it and get regular one

first off, we dont support "copies" so dont ask.
second, you dont use a n64 rom on a psx emulator, ever. there is a harvest moon game on the psx that you can use with epsxe by just running the psx.exe file.
