You have a P2? Well, in Pete's plugin, click on the Fast button and from there if epsxe runs full speed. Turn on options one by one until you get the best speed with the best graphics your computer can handle.

I was cursed with an 8mb ATI Rage Pro AGP 2x for 2 years.. still have it on the upstairs computer.. its settings are as follows:

I havent used that computer since the 1.55 days I guess, so thats all I could take a look at. It'd probably run even better with 1.58.

I think the new "Smart texture garbage collection" option in 1.58 will speed up your game...
