It works... at least, that's what they say. I can't tell until I get my own copy of it. But it does work in VGS, so try it out there if you really can't get past that patch thing.

Under the Options menu in epsxe, there is an option to auto load ppf patches. Since this is on, epsxe is looking for a patch for the game. Since there isn't one on your system, it displays the message. But don't worry it isn't an important message. You can turn it off if you want unless you have a game which requires some sort of patch.

...and afaik, you only need a patch if you want to turn it into PAL using Pal4U.

I don't get it.
Do you really need to patch Tokimeki 2? It works with VGS, but in ePSXe, it won't even load the CD in the first place!! Can somebody please help? I want to be able to use savestates, hence the need. It just blanks out upon trying to load. The ePSXe console gives me no error. |

Ranma kawaii used ISOs, maybe you should try to use them too.
or maybe it's an incorrect config of the CDr plugin. Try enabling accurate CDrom timing, or use the -nocdinc command line switch.

Uh, okay...so I finallygot TM2, and you guys were right, it doesn't work in ePSXe when you try to run it from the CD.
So how did you guys get to run it? I really need help at this.... how do you run ISOs anyway? Never ran an ISO in ePSXe before ... with VGS, I just load it in Daemon and run VGS, that's it.... So how did you guys do it?

You could use Daemon Tools and choose the right "CD-Rom Drive". Which will be the virutal drive. and then select run cdrom to play.
OR You can select Run ISO from the menu and go to where it is and select it and it should work. Make sure It's in either iso, bin or clone cd formats. Last edited by Snake785; February 21st, 2002 at 01:06. |
