Making FF9 look good...

Ok, im on a P3 550 mhz cpu using TNT/TNT2
Im on WIN XP Pro

While playing FF9 i use Pete's soft driver like 1.54...and fast settings...i mean the game runs great and all but it looks like FF7 or something...which is pretty bad for 2 games later.

I tried fiddling with the settings but it DOES make the game look better but the text is fux0red. And some spells simply don't load...

Can anyone with near my specs cpu tell me what your using to make it look better?

W/ a tnt, you can use pete's open gl. It will run a little better in theory. Plus the soft driver you are using is a little outdated, use the peops one. (same author)

I have ePSXe 1.5, but I haven't tried configuring it yet.
That mayormaynot help, post your specs too.

Use petes ogl or d3d pluggin and set filtering to 6.. Sprite smoothing.. Playing the game at 640x480 also helps with the 2d stuff, but your 3d may look jagged.. Too bad you can't use 4xFSAA..

4xFSAA the best thing for any game to lock nice !!
