Argh!! I installed voodoo2 8 mb into my pc and it is installed properly w/ the voodoo2 appeared in the device manager.
BUT: when I see the display settings, the v2-1000 weren't there. And to add to my confusion, in DirectX diag, it showed only my Geforce 2 mx under the Display tab. I thought that after I installed voodoo2, there will be 2 displays inside Directx Diag. When I ran Need for speed 3, the voodoo2 is there in the gfx setting but when I run the game, an error stating that couldn't find glide2x.dll none found?? Demigod,u got any idea on this? Is it that I gotta reinstall my Geforce 2 and don't upgrade to 21.83 detonator driver?? Any ideas would be helpful coz I'm gonna throw away my ol' voodoo2 in the dustbin if it doesn't work again

This shouldn't be in ePSXe discussion, but anyway: try to update the Voodoo2 drivers. Download the latest official one, it is the best one.

I would definitely try re-installing the drivers for the Voodoo 2. Try both the manufacturer drivers and the 3dfx reference drivers. If glide2x.dll isn't in the systems folder then something definitely went wrong with the installation. You can also try copying the glide2x.dll file into your Windows folder but the best thing would be to re-install.
BTW, which OS are you running? In Windows XP my Voodoo 2 only shows up in my hardware manager. I don't see it in my display properties, nor in dxdiag. In Windows 98 it shows up fine. I usually only play games in Windows 98 though so I hardly ever use my Voodoo 2 in XP.

Demigod, I'm using Win98SE. Ok, I'll try to reinstal v2 and install the latest driver for it. Thanks for the clue
