Wireframe mode in ePSXe

Good 'ol Chrono Cross: Not only is there that really nasty problem where you can't see what you're doing in Fort Dragonia, it also happens in the burning orphanage late in the game. I managed to struggle through Fort Dragonia blind, but the orphanage is virtually unplayable. Someone said you can see exits if you enable wireframe mode, but how do you enable it? I can't find a command line option or GUI option to do it.

The thing in the flaming orphanage is caused by something else than that in Fort Dragonia. For this you need the full VRam primitives on and the Framebuffer textures set to 0-emulated VRam. This however causes a major slwodown. In the same menu you will be able to find the wireframe function near the bottom.

To get to this config screen go to heading "Config" and then select "Video". When there be sure that you are using Pete's OpenGL since this allows you to turn on the wireframe mode.

Ahh, thanks. I'm using Pete's DirectX 6 driver so I guess that's why I couldn't find the wireframe option. But I'll try the VRAM fix instead. Slowdown I can handle, it's an improvement on not being able to see a thing

Here's another tip: Go to the special game fixes section in Pete's GPU and enable Framebuffer on Move. That fixes the wobbling screen effect without enabling Full VRAM Primitives, and it only docks about 1 or 2 from your FPS count.
