Lightbulb USB gamepad w/ vibration

I just bought a psx-like gamepad that uses USB port. My question is:
If I use it on Epsxe, will it gonna work? In the gamepad settings, should I choose Burutter or Directx for dual shock? The gamepad is exactly like psx pad with the analog buttons. I bought it for RM55 or USD14.47 to be precise. It is branded Corway. Got a homepage also at
http://www.pc210.com If it does work, Gran Turismo 2 gonna rock man!

You need to select directX along with constant then sine for the motors. Also make sure you specify analogue/digital as your input type.

I would check the box you controller came in. If it says supports Force Feed Back then it should work w/ePSXe just fine. On the other hand, if it does not mention anything about Force Feed Back, then it probablly does not support Force Feed Back and you will get no "rumble" from ePSXe at all.

Constant means a steady never varying rumble. Sine means that the rumble starts off soft builds to a peak and drops off again, like a big curve, over and over.

Eyerule. If you are interested in buying one then there are several places you can go. I personally would suggest Low Yat plaza. But Sungai Wang will also have it. Imbi might have it as well although they are mostly internal hardware based there. I bought mine in Ampang point. Mine is slightly different though. It's just a plug and I put in a PSX controller. Quite Wicked. WHen ya buy one however I would suggest tht you check the compatibility. If you bought XP whether it's fake or real, it won't run some of the drivers.

Pestilence3, yes, I am quite certain on this. If the box says nothing about Force Feedback support, then it most likely does not support it. Does the controller plug directly into the USB connection on your PC. If so, then the controller must have Force Feed Back bulit in (motors inside like a real Dual Shock PSX controller) to work.
Ahtze, Force Feed Back is simply Sony's fancy description of the "rumble" or vibrating feature of their Dual Shock PSX controller.
Therefore, Force Feed Back = Rumble and ePSXe supports rumble w/the proper pad, or cable and joypad.
sincerely,
sx/amiga

Yes, I have a Logitech Wingman Rumbepad and I must say, it rumbles quite nicely with ePSXe. You have to make sure to have your controller set to analog/digital and press f5 twice ingame and f4 once or twice. That should get it working if you're having difficulties.

I can see the machinery inside the gamepad coz the surface is transparent so there's a lot of the circuitry boards and all.
Yep, it is USB port so this gonna rock and rumble right w/ Epsxe? yeah!!!!!!!

But can you see the actual vibration motors? In a clear PSX Dual Shock controller you can actually see the two vibration motors, the big one and the small one. Just seeing the circut boards and wires doesn't mean that rumble will work. All controllers have boards and wires to make them work. But unless the motors, themselves, are there, you will get no rumble because there is nothing to produce it.

Well,I can see 2 sort-off motor at the left and the right of the pointy heldof the pad. Big or small, now that I'm not sure.
Btw, my pc doesn't have the usb port under the device manager. So I gotta install it using the cd that comes with my m/board right?
