Lightbulb Does epsxe use 3dnow optimizations?

if it doesnt it would be good to have them because if you look at benchmarks from progs that use 3dnow, the k6-2 3dnow beats the pentium 2.. that would be a dream come true if they would implement them

Do you have to turn it on or is it automatically enabled? I got a Duron and would like to get a few more FPS out of it.

you probably would not get anymore fps because the duron does not have a weak fpu like the k series does.. im getting a new video card (1mb piece o **** atm) and 256mb memory (32 now) then i will use pete's plugins and see how it goes.. oh and i think if he uses 3dnow in his plugins that it will detect if your cpu supports it and enable or disable it accordingly.
